Hi to any and all that are reading this. I want to thank you for checking in with me today, for the last week of my weekly check-ins!

It’s been a great handful of months, with a lot of challenges along the way. Some days the writing bug finds me a little easier than other days. It used to be a big roadblock for me creatively, but I’ve found ways to work through that.

I truly feel that I’ve grown as a writer through this experience. I’ve learned to manage my time better, making the most of my writing, and I’ve developed a habit of posting regularly to my blog… so that’s a win-win!

The good news is that I’ve written over 95k words throughout this practice, which means that I achieved my main goal. However, that left very little time for editing the manuscripts I already have done. You can’t really have one without the other.

So I’ll be spending the next couple of months focusing on the editing process of my writing. I really want to get two of these books ready for publishing by Fall. And if I learned something through this all, it’s that I’m capable of anything when I put my mind to it.

But have no fear! I plan on keeping you all updated with weekly posts. And the closer I get to getting these books ready to roll out, you’ll be hearing so much about them that you’ll be tired of my writing.

We’ll have some fun with it, though. Maybe we’ll do some polls and character sketches! Perhaps I’ll even release some short stories related to the characters.

In other news, it’s Amazon Prime Day(s), which means there will be plenty of great deals out there! In honor of the event, the ebook of Plod On, Sleepless Giant will be free on Amazon today and tomorrow! You can get your copy here.

And if you jump over to Twitter, I’m running a giveaway for paperback copies. I’ve got three to give away, and all you need to do is Follow me and Retweet the giveaway tweet to be entered, which I’ll be sure to pin to my profile. Unfortunately, due to shipping costs, this giveaway is only valid for readers that reside within the US. For that, I am truly sorry… but you can still get the free ebook!

Until Next Time: Remember that setting goals is important, and that accountability is just as important as achieving those goals–failure is a constant reality. They say “in order to make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs”–which is a messy truth. But if you’re as messy as I am in the kitchen, you also know that we have to learn to clean up our own messes.
