Meet the Author

M.P. McVey was born Michael Patrick McVey in Ft. Hood, Tx. He was well traveled as a youngster living in three states and two countries before reaching the age of 12. He was an avid reader even as a child and especially loved listening to and telling stories. So it is no surprise that he has taken up the challenge of authorship.

M.P. McVey now lives in Columbus, Ohio with his supportive and patient girlfriend, a one eyed cat named Stanley, and an ornery kitten named Gandalf, the mostly grey.

“Plod on Sleepless Giant” is his first book. It has been under development for several years and after many rewrites, it’s finally available! He is currently working on his second novel with hopes of it being released later in 2015.
