I posted a review for Wade Garret’s new book, Ghosts of the Scattered Kingdoms, the other day–which can be found here. It’s a great book, by the way, especially if you like a nicely fleshed out world or Flintlock Fantasy, so I recommend it. Before that post, however, it had been a while since I posted anything, even one of my journal posts.

The fact is that I am going through some personal things that involve a lot of changes and decision making. Sadly, the love I have for writing and reading was heavily effected. I found it hard to focus on anything, and it kind of held me back a bit. But I’m slowly making my way back.

So this is me… just checking in… telling any of those that follow my blog that I know I’ve been slacking. But I’m making my way back.

I’m currently editing a couple of different books, formatting one for publication, and also working slowly–oh so slowly–on a new project. I can’t divulge too much about this new project, except to say that it’s a very personal story, on multiple levels. Any of you who liked Plod On, Sleepless Giant will enjoy it, I’m sure, because it’s in the same vein of Contemporary Fantasy.

I look forward to sharing good and exciting news soon. Until then, this is just me… saying “hello”.
